Howard W. Clark, Jr. (Sonny), 67, of Jacksonville, Fl. went home to be with the lord on Thursday, January 17, 2013 after a brief illness at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, Fl. Born in Ironton, Ohio on June 21, 1945. Graduated Coal Grove High, Coal Grove, Ohio 1963. Served in the Air Force and Reserves. A pioneer in the cable tv industry, he was presently employed by Quality Fiber Technology, Inc. from Groveland, Fl. In recent years, Howard enjoyed time with his children, grandchildren, bowling, golf, sports and billiards. He was a heck of a pool player! Preceded in death by parents Howard W. and Helen (Baker) Clark, sister Carolyn (Clark) Walls, son Ronald Allen Clark, son Donald Ray Clark. Survived by wife of 43 years, Joanna (Burch) Clark, son Rick Clark, son Johnny Clark and son Robbie Clark (Sharon). He has 10 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 6 -8pm and Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013, 2pm at Full Gospel Tabernacle, 2903 11th St Court E. Memorial Service will be held from 5-8pm on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Club Savoy, 6354 Arlington Rd, Jacksonville, Fl. 32211.
