I appreciate the information. Removal of the old heatshrink(or the many other names it is called) is where the danger may be. We usually score the old with a knife from end to end then burn it to get it off. Lots of fumes from that method. My good friend is in serious condition in hosp right now (ICU) and the doctors dont know whats wrong with his lungs. This was the first thing that came to mind.
