That is my point,
The lineman may get on a cx property while hanging a drop but mostly they are....on the lines. They don't interact with the public. This is different from an installer who goes into the houses. For that setting employers want someone with no history of child abuse, theft, violent robbery, gun charges drug abuse.....the rest of the list.
The reality is that past performance is no predictor of future actions. Also, the best offenders are not caught. They are still out there with a clean background. It is a CYA thing.
