CMTS Card Question

When two or more nodes are combined at a CMTS port, is the return spectrum from all nodes combined? The reason I'm asking is that I'm about to start mitigating two nodes that are combined. After checking each node in the field, the noise for one node looks great while the other node has noise well into the modems. What strikes me as odd is that the node health weight for both nodes is very high and almost identical
