Welcome to the satellite/cable business. Once you enter a customers residence, anything that happens at any time after you leave, is your fault.
You can deny the claim, but DTV will pay the customer and charge back the hsp/sub/tech/ anyway so your pretty much SOL.
Never argue with idiots, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
