Every one of us(season'd tech's) knows the deal going into a storm project That theres money to be made and a system who is in need of the services we can provide. The thing about this trip was the "Brokers" who never even went to New York...Never made the effort to see it thru beyond there first check, I have never seen a system so un-prepaired for what they got.No one from the system managers to the In-house techs were ready for the influx of talent that for the first 2 weeks roll'd in.What a waste it all turned out having no "PLAN from day one.I for one will NEVER go into a venture again untill the prime opens the doors and contracts directly with solid contractors and has the direction that enables both the system and the techs to complete the repairs that benifits everybody involved. The bridges burn'd on this fiasco will forever change the way storm work is handled the next time...and every on knows...there will always be a next time.
