Re: Sweepless Sweep

CBateman, im all bout fixing the transmitter when ya lost it on the edge - converted IP thing,, from what im gathering the reverse works, so im guessing you are in a multiple sweep transmitter enviroment (5510 in hub sites) but im guessing, Place the main FORWARD transmitter (5500) at the main headend and set the forward telemetry and hit that telem with (sda or dsam) meters in the field at the node and set the telemetry level at +6 Db by changing telemetry level at the 5500 transmitter.

On sweepless sweep , RF Tech is right, it uses the carrier's them selfs to compare  the referenced signal to the new active's signal. So if u have data or even the telemetry signal off the sweep transmitter that has a intermittent signal , your sweepless pic will have a spike or suckout pic do to the signal is changing all the time. You can guard band those carriers that are jumping so it dont compare that area

On transmitter sweep it uses the injected sweep points off the transmitter.

Remember always double check your telemetry on the field meter in multiple sweep transmitter enviro's
