I'm a resident of Nevada, a state that doesn't have an income tax. So, again, you are wrong, my state officials are not paid by income taxes. If one state can do it, so can other states. I suppose you will refer to the federal officials next. Let me stop you on that argument right now, because historically they still made their salaries prior to income taxes.
did you know the colonists revolted over a level of taxation that amounted to less than 5%?
