actually, the local reports are that a bolt action .22 was one of the weapons, and the guy was proficient as he practiced regularly. Don't jump to conclusions and believe everything the TV/Media say right away. Remember, these were very young kids,at least 20 of them, trusting and naive, so I think it is entirely possible to do this terrible deed without an automatic or semi-automatic weapon...and I was a US Marine for 7 years......
