data base of "do not ever hire" interesting... i guess you have hundreds of guys in your "data base" willing to work for you anytime, lucky you!
Most cable companies are having difficulties hiring because the pay keeps going down,
they want you to work 12-16 hours per day six days a week and does pay for the hours,
yet call themselves "employee base". Being an experienced and good tech is liability on
the part of the technician because they will route you with all the craziest jobs while
the supervisor sit on their asses, however you get the same rate as new techs.
I think there should only be 1099 with good pay and see how techs will do anything to
keep their jobs and people will be dying to get into the cable business.
unemployment have been above 8% for a long time and some of you have been struggling
to hire good techs. That should tell you there is something wrong. Now unemployment is falling so we gonna have some choices thank God.
