To the contrary, this didn't "put any qualified person out of work. As i said earlier ONLY the disconect portion was taken away (in-house now does hard disco's) . So the contractor sole responsibility is to retain the customer, hence no pole climbing. All former "non pay techs" that are now Collection Retention Specialist love the fact that they no longer are required to disco's. Maybe you were refering to the fact that there is only one company in each KMA allowed to perform this task instead of multiple companies. If that's the case i am sure the surviving company would more than welcome the addition of a seasoned tech in their newly aquired area(s).
