The Iraq war was not fought for oil, it was fought because Iraq was being used to train terrorists and it was believed by many that Saddam had WMD’s and was preparing to use them. Bush had the backing of 64% of the country and got the war authorized by congress.
As far as moaning and groaning over the 3000+ soldiers I do more than my part to support our toops. As a 12 year Army Vet I've fought and defended this country. In the last 3 years that I’ve been back in the states I’ve helped raise funding for and helped build 4 houses for wounded warriors here in my area. Just what the fuck have you done for them?
