I just left the rebuild project, just as so many contractors have this past week because of mismanagement of the project. Prince Telecommunications may be one of the largest Cabling contracting companies but they are sorely lacking in organization and competence.
We were out of the Newark Prince Telecommunications office...The work in that area is pathetic.
Rather than do the rebuild by street sheet, they are doing it by service call orders. 3 techs in 3 houses right next to each other....
the worst part is the service calls carry the last man out rule....
and the work out there is in such shambels...lines coming through windows, splitters everywhere, hex crimp on connectors, RG59 running modems, not a single screw clamp all those cheap nail clamps...and you are expected to fix the whole job to code.
This is probably the worst system I have ever seen - as far as installation quality, I have been in this business for over 20 years and have traveled all over the country...
Leave it to a big installation company to do the worst work I have ever seen.
