Were you working for them when they still sold Dish? They had a toll free number that was almost identical to Dish and they kept it after they stopped selling Dish. I had many customers tell me "I called Dish for a repair and they talked me into Directv." It was clever but I am surprised they did not get in hot water over that. Another thing is they may have been forced to switch to the HSPs for installation, because of so many contractors not doing things by the book. The HSPs don't either but Directv believes they do.
