As a commander when my people on the ground privide me with creditable intell that an attack is imminent and they need reinforcements, you don't ignor it and hope it goes away. Obama and his administration KNEW 19 days before anything happened that something was going to go down.
As far as saving 4 people, there were over 30 Americans there and if it were not for the two ex Navy Seals and a few others there would most likley more than 4 dead Americans.
