Based on what Greg said in response to your original post, I don't think you would want to put in a linear eq to "correct" non-linear response. It won't compensate for the non-linear response inherent in cable and passives, it will only pass the existing response issue further down the line. You need a trim board (adjustable interstage eq) that you can adjust the mid-band response to "flatten" the response across the band at the amp where the non-linearity doesn't pass your system's max p/v deviation specs.
Do the first and second actives have the TG eq in them already? If they do, then that might explain your pronounced mid band flatness problem. Your network amp eq's are not compensating for the non-linearity of the cable and passives on an amp to amp basis, and your getting a compounding effect manifesting itself further down the line with a drastically pronounced p/v deviation.
