I didn't want to reply to his post, because he obviously had no idea what he was talking about.

Linedawg is right, Iran has a much larger coast line to the south that opens right into the Arabian Sea via Gulf of Oman, which logistics tell us is a much easier route than going over land thru Iraq, just to get to Syria, to go through the Mediterranean Sea, that goes past Turkey, Egypt, Greece, France, Italy, Spain..then you have to go thrugh a small area via Strait of Gilbraltar....but maybe thats the way Republicans would go..you know, around your ass to get to your elbow
