Hi,
I am a tech who had very little success selling dish network as a dealer and decited to go back and do what I do best. Install. I do know there is quite a bit that I am missing on the sales side. I am not interested in doing satellite sales at this time.
The real question I have is about Cloud Phone service and Alarm systems. Both of these can be sold and don't have to be installed by me. In a way I can see them pairing up nicely. Since most security systems require a phone, and most small/ home businesses need phone and alarm systems.
What would be the best way to approach this? Lets say door to door. And would you suggest working with your wife and have her selling like avon or something to that effect?
For those of you who sell and install, or went from installing to sales... Was it easy and how did you transition?
