This post started about rising prices, which is caused by inflation.
Cost of Living ( COLA for short) is a comparison of prices in 2 different areas, for example, the cost of living in Texas is cheaper than the cost of living in California.
I may have used the wrong terminology (COL), but the facts are still the facts, rising prices in all major areas go up every year, and have increased every year. The GOP seems to think that only since 2009 has prices of consumer goods increased, and its all the current administrations fault, but the facts are, prices of goods and services go up every year, they fluctuate some, but the over all average is always an increase, average prices increased under Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush II, and under Obama, they will continue to increase under the next 4 years, regardless of who is in office.
Gas prices for example, the day Obama took office, they were lower, but the actual highest prices ever where reached under GW Bush at a national average of 4.12 a gallon. So the GOP always saying that Gas prices have doubled under Obama is completely false, they reached an all time high under Republicans in 2008.
These are facts, spin them how you want.
