Ok Wobbie,

One of the two reasons I am a former installer is the hours......produced by impossible routes. When you are driving more than you are working there is no chance to make money.

The other reason I got off the ride is the parade of dishonest and or incompetent wannabe Directv contractors the HSPs use. They have no personal assets to attach and just vanish with installer funds. You shouldn't have to use the courts to get paid.

So ya did good finding an employer and a check that clears the bank every week. 

To finally answer your question...some Directv installers are more trusting than others. Their BS detectors are not well tuned and they get hurt more than those who quit early.
