A core conviction of the Republican party since Reagan and a big part of the Ryan plan is to cut taxes on the wealthy and reap the magical economic windfill. Now on the day of the debate, knowing that conservative principal became a political loser he decides to give a big "fuck you" to conservatives and say that's all bullshit, he ain't doing no tax breaks for the wealth reapers. Of course conservatives have no real convictions other than gaining power so they don't care.
