Re: Two Quotes

Unfortunately whichever side is in control they all have been doing this for decades. I think it is a function of being a politician, they say what they have to to get into office and then do what they have to to pay off their corporate campaign contributors. Maybe we should do away with elected officials and go to a "summons to service" system like a jury. Our government might develop a little bit of integrity again and if there are a few rotten apples they won't be in politics for life.
