Yeah, it's not the same at least that's what my wife says. I wouldn't know I may speak Japanese well enough to get around Japan but when they are talking with one another I only understand about every third word if I'm lucky.  Plus they have their different regions too. People from Tokyo speak a bit different than people from Fukuoaka, kind of like someone from Mississippi speaks different than someone from New York. Anyway I'm sure something will change sooner or later. Thanks for the ideas.
