Not sure on cost of fiber, I splice, don't pull but from what I hear it's not a huge differance. Also I would think in stead of a company sending you 3 differnt sized cables at 1000 feet each would probably be cheaper to get 1 3000 foot reel or whatever size you need. Also don't know how buildings are set up can you do 1 bore then split at end? you need to check that. another option run in a triagle with a ring system, one side gets hit could always jumper around other way till fixed, just a thought. but remember they would save on all splicing pluss enclosures. Don't know what their equipment rooms look like do they have rack mounts? wall mounts? If they say they only need 12 connectors now they would still have 36 left for latter date, that could be hooked up when needed but again if I were to put those on doing 2 48 and 1 96 panel I would charge around 22.00 per connector pluss conntector is around 14.00. Now if I was to do 12 then 36 then 48 it would be 30.00 per. Trust me I get called back to splice bussinesses sometimes 3 times a year because the 12 they thought was all they needed ended up as 48 in less then a year. the connectors are around 14.00 each well then again are you doing MM or SM do you want ST, SC or LC style connectors there are a ton of varibles to look at. The first thing I would do is sit down with their I.T. guy and figure out what he is using now and put together a plan with him as to what he is looking to do, normaly the highest cost is the boring and cable pull.
