Re: YOUR RIGHTS being taken away little by little

It's not just the democrats, this started back in the 50's with Joseph McCarthy and maybe even the Sedition Act of WWI. Every successive administration and congress has chipped away at our civil rights regardless of political affiliation. Both sides take a little away that furthers their particular agenda. The biggest blow to our rights in my opinion was The Patriot Act, which consolidated the presidents power and did away with Habeas Corpus if the arrest is called a terrorist act. A terrorist act can be something as innocuous as threatening to kick someones ass. A police state is coming and I see very little difference in the tactics of those at the top. Both sides say the other side is the bad guy for taking away this right or that one, but when they come into power they do not rescind anything, they use it to their advantage while condemning the last administration for it being in place.
