To be fair Directv probably just wants to buy competent installatioins. And they are justified in refusing to pay for crappy work that has to be done again (and paid for a second time.)
It is the abuse of that process as the work gets sub contracted so many times that has been the problem. So Directv is attempting to move the work in-house and be the employer. For sure you don't have to offer signing bonuses for legitimate jobs in this economy........so if you look for some undisclosed terms of employment...you will probably find the.
