I did a small claims court appearance without a lawyer. Write a letter to the guy that owes the money..........if he won't pay...take the letter to court. Fees will be under $100.00.
Know that collection is just as hard as getting the judgment. As the court for collection costs and interest.........lawyers like those.
And it could be that you get to just be pissed off...the money is gone and you just got a lesson.
