They just went thru and changed all the pricing and packages and discontinued wifi and do not support customer owned modems. This is an issues with subs as well as techs on service calls with wifi. charter says if they have wifi replace it with a new gateway, but in the GA AL KMA we dont have any in stock at all. also we went to all 3.0 modems and mta's but again we have none. I know this is normal for a MSO but what the heck.
My initial question is did charter just happen to be bought out by another MSO and not want to tell anyone? Most of our new equip is looking like comcast's stuff.... anyone know anything about this?
