as an ex-employee of at&t as far as i know uverse installer(prem tech) is an at&t position unless that has changed since i left. i think pay starts around $10/hr depending on experience and location and tops out around $23/hr again depending on location and union contract. its not all that hard except the company systems and their management style can get you really stressed out sometimes. i loved my job/work there just hated the management mentality and lack of advancement.
