That depends. Years ago when I started in the industry, I was making a good living. But today there are more guidelines and policy and paycuts in the business. customers are not buying and the companies cant afford to pay like they use to. The prices for the services are going up and the contractors that once lived by the motto "Hard work and do it right" are all gone. The upgrades of new technology, ie... hsd, phone, tv and so forth takes longer to install, so instead of just a striaght payout for the work, its all either unit points, which isnt much, or tier level pay. The QCs, chargebacks, claiming your work for 90 days, trouble call percentages so on and so on. So with all that, the industry has gotten more and more complicated and the pay has gotten more more less. Like i said it depends.
