Re: Internal Battery On Wavetek?


Normally when the internal battery goes you have to send hte unit to JDSU. However I would go to Battery Plus and see if they can reaplce it. I don't think it's impossible for them to open the unit and replace the battery. I have taken the external battery to them for repair and they have been able to replaace the battery cells and they last 2 times longer then the JDSU repalcements for less then half the cost. I Just sent a DSAM6000 in for internal battery replacement and did not enjoy the price. If I had to do it agian I would try the battery plus route.
