What a shitty way to end a week.
First the stupid ruling on Obamacare.
Then Friday morning I get a call from an old friend of mine telling me his brother passed away on Thursday night. His brother and him were like my own brothers, we lived across the street from eachother, hunted, fished, chased girls, partied together all the way through high school.
Then I get home Friday night and my daughter calls me and tells me my nephew passed away that morning, he was only 23 served 2 tours in Afghanistan came home and died of a heart attack.
Then to top all this off storms roll through Friday night and create mayhem. Knocked out my power and it will not be restored until sometime tomorrow at the earliest. 105 degree heat I'm working buku hours because I got fiber down, no AC at home, wife going crazy, freezer full of food possibly going bad, no ice or dry ice to be had anywhere, cell phones are spotty the list is endless.
I finally took a break from work managed to get one of the last hotel rooms in a 150 miles for my wife at the Hyatt so she can get some rest, I may even get to get some sleep tonight here.
Just needed to blow off some steam here. I'm going to grab a shower change my clothes (have had the sameones on since Friday) get a meal and head back to work. Tomorrows Monday no telling what's going to happen.
What a shitty way to end a week.
