I just saw the bus scene on CNN again. Individually the kids were trying to impress each other. The lady was just the target. It would have been some other kis if she wa not there.
Anyhow, my suggestion with the kids in your church is to speak to each one of them privately. This should not take place in a closed door office but perhapse outside the church. They are looking for attention and an attachment they are not getting elsewhere.
And keep them separated.............work with the parents so the rat pack does not go nuts each time they are all together. Explain why they are being broken up. Let them know what is expected and how they are failing + what they can do to get off the watch list.
+ You may have to suspend some of them for a week or two.
