Been there done that got about 200 tee shirts that say the same. There is still good work out there in the telecommunication industry. Just got to branch out a bit. I started in cable got into fiber, learned telcom, and picked up my RCDD and now work for Uncle Sam. Took some time and a lot of miles but I get to do what I love and don't ave to worry about the checks clearing the bank, getting back charged by someone who doesn't know a RG6 fitting from a node and all the other B/S that seems to be more prevalent now then when I was on the road.
If everyone is thinking alike, someone isn't thinking.
