New post and ad counts have not changed. They should still be there.
There was a problem with going to the old address (bar.cabl.com). In an effort to simplify the transition, I had the old site log the person in using their saved info as normal, then redirect their browser to the new site using their account info to automatically login here. I didn't think about that causing the new login here to see the last login as 1 second ago on the old site and nothing would show up as new. I fixed that so going forward it shouldn't be an issue.
Some people still aren't seeing the new counts but I haven't been able to determine why yet. I have some suspicions. I need to do more testing and will have a solution soon.
