Not to show disrespect...but what made them the best generation ever was thier parents, the depression and never asking for or wanting recognition for what they did. HARD WORK, FAMILY, MORALS and RESPECT for others. My Dad was military (died at the age of 46) been living here a few miles from STRATTCOM (Offutt Air Force Base) all my life. And I can tell you...the military personal now-a-days don't have the same standards my dad did. As my younger brother ( 20 years retired Marine) says. These kids now-a-days don't respect their freedom. he could not have been a Marine 24 years ago with a tatoo.
