Re: 1099 or Not

I worked for a Canadian company back in 2000. Good bunch of people, good company. That was when AT&T started sending phone engineers into CATV systems they wanted to buy. They would come in and so many mom and pop systems would say sure the system will go to 750Mhz. But not tell them that everything would have to be respaced and new actives would be needed. But AT&T would buy them, then find out how much money it would cost to bring the system up to 750 or 860. o they would hire contractors and then cut the prices. That's when the bottom fell out of the industry and I went to work in Japan.
