a voltmeter or test light is good to have and follow the power
check your block ground then go from the batt to the solenoid to the starter
check the main fuses and any fusible links like the one that is generally from the starter switch
if the battery is good and the ground is solid then sooner or later u will figure where your power goes no further
if u check and it looks like there is power everywhere,u might also check the key switch i have seen a few go bad
