You have a case. This is how the courts view it. An employee charge back is a practice that usually occurs within sales industries. An employee earns either a commission or a bonus on made sales that have yet to be finalized. An employer may choose to offset their losses by taking back any excess commission given to a SALES employee. You did not sell her the box, you were there to finalize the transaction and give the cust. what they wanted. The salesman should be charged back on his commission. Not you. Now if you find out that the employer is charging both of you then he is in big trouble.
