Dish will back charge you for anything they want. They will make shit up to back charge you. Once they keep the money you will never get it. Even if you prove them wrong.

They do say that all cable used in the system has to be APPROVED cable. So basically any prewired house will fail a QC on that fact. So you either take the chance that they will fail the job and back charge you, or you wrap the customers house. When you start cancelling jobs because the customer does not want it wraped you will be done installing.

I walked away from doing any Dish installs. You will not make money contracting for them.
