You could be right.......I am going from a pamphlet the Small Claims court clerk gave me. I don't keep up but may need to collect yet another pile of money. I got a sense from the cops I dealt with that they were putting a case together against my customer / employer and they would go forward to get restitution first................one of the things they stressed was that if I was paid I did have to got to court and drop any filings I might have started. I could see that......getting paid twice is not fair either....................I'll look for the instruction I had to only file civil or criminal. This would have been in MD in 2006. ........Thanks, Joe
