Ya that's what i've been doing,    Dish sux when it comes to activating equip..    Just installed a hopper and 2 joey's and a day later the joey's stopped working, both joey's had to be replaced.  Overheating!?!?!?    at least that's what the tech that went out to replace them said.   They were well ventilated where they were installed.    Dish equip is crapola.  Directv is SOOO much easier/quicker.
