Re: Are landlines doomed?

I know verizon bought out mci's calling cards and are not going to issue any more  phone cards......there are still alot of people living in the country that depend on landlines because they havent put in cell towers ....but the writing is on the wall for landlines......the new technology of prism and att uverse might revive them a bit
