I was taking a Gray Hound to Southfield Mi. in early October 2011.
I had a 4 hour lay over in Detroit and waiting in the station I had a little "confrontation" with a security guard over my gear that I put in a locker. (had rather long hair myself back then)
Anyway, I decided to ignore the situation and spend the rest of my layover at the casino a few blocks away.
When I came back, the bus station was crawling with Detroit police and Michigan State Police and police dogs.
Next thing I knew the security guard told one of the cops, "There he is, That's him" and pointed at me.
The next thing I knew I was hand cuffed and taken to the police station and "thoroughly" questioned by the FBI. Come to find out the security guard told the police that I made a bomb threat and for an hour or so while I was gone they closed the bus station, and the Michigan State police communications center which happened to be on the second floor.
Spent two days in jail while the FBI did a thorough check on me, my wife and kids, and all of my brothers and sister to determine if we had any connections with known terrorists.
Never took a gray Hound since and probably NEVER will.
I should have taken a plane instead
