Jerry, if the current contractor is making money and happy with what they get, why is it going up for rebid? Sounds like the are blowing smoke. A three hour window would be real hard to get anything finished correctly, but maybe that is the plan. Get the contractor to do a majority of the work, have the system guys come in during the day to fix what isn't working right and then back charge for it.
