From what I understand, the tv's to use all the features on the HR34 have not even hit the market yet, as far as the install, an HR34 connects just like any other receiver, allows all other tv's that have a DTV receiver to watch anything, you can record up to 4 shows at the same time, and any HD receiver on the system can watch what you have recorded.
