I think it's going to be some proprietary DISH equipment instead of your typical 4 way splitter. A SWM splitter won't work because there is still at least 2 wires from the dish to the hopper. The "splitter" so to speak, routes that signal to the hopper and then routes the client data from the hopper to the joey so it's going to have a different internall design.
