Re: Tell me your experience working with the dish

+1Directv equipment is bullet proof. I can count with one hand and a few toes the number of defective LNBs, IRDs or ODUs. The funny thing is that I bypassed working for DISH because they had, at the time, a reputation for doing to techs all the things that eventually happened to me with Directv subcontractors. Of eight different Directv subcontractors three paid every penny or had a reasonable explanation. I needed to use the courts or eat money stolen by the other five. And for folks in this situation......skip the civil collection route. File criminal charges for theft of service ot fraud and drop the charges when paid. Judgments do not get you paid. Threat of jail or fines does..........The solution I have discoverd = work for DISH...do good work...but demand adequate spares for the crap eq that fails out of the box....................Joe
