Whole house checks verify the signals to the equipment. We can run dummy drops from the tap to the CPE or run dummy outlets to second story bedrooms of a 3 story house (This system by the way charges the customer to replace wallfished lines whether the signal is bad or not). Not to mention that calling in for tap maintenance is simple, but when they arrive is anyone's guess. The job cannot be completed (more importantly we cannot get paid) until the tap is fixed and the job closed out with passing signals on the CPE. That last man theory only works when practiced by everyone, this goes beyond changing split bolts and updating fittings. This is a typical bullshit TWC move.
