I personally think it because we are starting to see the beginning of the "the everyone is a winner" generation in the workforce. Where everyone gets a ribbon or whatever just for showing up. These people are also part of the instant gratification generation and has never learned to wait for anything. It's only getting worse, most kids today (ages 16 to 29) are not prepared for the real world and don't know how to deal with it. They know little of working for what you want, working your way up the ladder, waiting your turn, earning your place. They come into the workforce expecting to start at the top. Some of the worst ones are the college educated ones that think just because they have been to school they know more than someone that has been doing the job for 30 years. Of course all of the above is just my opinion, and you know what they say opinions are like assholes everyone has one.
